Angie Boothroyd : jewellery designer-maker
You wouldn't immediately associate motorbike-riding Californian Angie Boothroyd with her gossamer-light jewellery. A skilled metallurgist with an MA in gold and silversmithing from the Royal College of Art and author of a book on necklaces and pendants, her meticulously detailed designs are made up of delicate repetitive elements. Currently she is experimenting with complex 3D patterns to extend the boundaries of her jewellery making. Designs from Angie's London workshop range from gold set with precious gemstones to the more affordable silver pieces featured in our selection.
